2004: National Academy of Arbitrators Research and Education Foundation, Served on Board of Directors. Established (with Joe Gentile) the NAA/REF Annual Paper Competition. Evaluated research proposals and distributed funding.

2004: National Academy of Arbitrators, Chair, NAA Future Sites Committee. In this role I selected cities and hotels for future annual and continuing education meetings. Negotiated complex hotel contracts for several large conferences.
