Recently Taught Courses


  • 2008: Development of course in European and non-European economic history. The history of mercantilism (1500-1700) in Western Europe is compared with the recent attempts at economic and political reconstruction in Iraq and Afghanistan.
  • 2008: Developed new course entitled Comparative Economic Systems that explores the questions of how economic systems and prominent economies differ and compare and evolve over time. Particular attention is paid to the contribution of this line of discussion to current policy debates.
  • 2006: Development of new economics course for individuals taking the CPA exam.
